There's a new TV station being advertised. Its called Dog TV and is a television channel actually FOR us doggies. Its suppose to entertain us, or relax us, and keep our minds busy while our owners are doing other things.
Today they had auditions at a local pet store.Mom and her friends thought it would be fun to take us down and see what happened.
We got there right at 1pm, when it was suppose to start, and there was already a long line of people & their pups waiting to audition. Mom was a little worried since it was a small space & lots of dogs...sometimes just the recipe for snarkiness if a dog is feeling too confined with no where to go.
She put our name down and then we waited...and waited...and waited...
It was good people/dog watching though, so it wasn't too boring.
Over the past year, gourmet food trucks have popped up all over Sandy Eggo. This one was called the "Dog Shack" and served gourmet hot dogs for the people. None for the dogs, unfortunately!
They had all kinds of breeds of hot dogs. "Chow Chow" hot dogs, "German Shepherd", "Golden Retriever" hot dogs...and there was even the "Great Dane"! I thought they sounded delicious, but Mom wouldn't let me get one. I would have loved to have said I had once eaten a Chihuahua! BOL!
After waiting for about an hour, Mom was getting restless. They still hadn't called our name, and the paper we had signed up on had somehow ended up at the bottom of the pile! The line was only getting longer!
Finally, Mom couldn't take the growling of her stomach anymore...so we left before our names were called. We walked over to a local eatery and had lunch in the nice cool shade. As we walked back to the car, about an hour later, the line was still as long as ever. Ginger's Mom was parked behind the store, so on her way back to the car she stopped by to see if her name had been called while we were gone. It had, so they took her in front of the other doggies & she had her audition. With any luck, we'll get to see pretty Ginger on DogTV one of these days! I guess my 15 minutes of fame will just have to wait!

Hi Murphy,
I'm new to following your fun blog. You would have been a very handsome addition to TV, but I get antsy on long lines, too, so I understand why your human threw in the towel. Their loss for not spotting you and pulling you to the front of the line!
XOXO,
Lu
We know you would have been a huge TV star if you had been able to audition!
Your friends,

Murphy, we know if they had called your name you would have been an instant hit. My mum agrees with your mum in that she wouldn't have waited too long either. Sorry you didn't get to have a hot dog cause they sounded really yummy. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory
