Check out this cutey! She has a permanent smile, and is our latest foster dog...her name is Rouge! All the poodle type doggies that come into Second Chance Dog Rescue get French names.
She joined the household on Wednesday evening, and so far seems to be adjusting pretty well. Fergie kitTON is not being very nice to her. Fergie is always a diva when a new dog comes to the house. She gets growly and hissy, and will even chase the new dog and smack them. Rouge isn't standing for that though, and gets fiesty herself when Fergie is nasty. Its a little stressy for Mom, but things seem to be settling down after about 24 hours so she's hoping another day or so and the household calm will return.
She's not thrilled with staying in her x-pen...and makes LOTS of racket when she's in there, but hopefully she'll learn to settle down. She's only had 1 accident in the house so far, so she seems pretty potty trained too. She's super sweet and loves to cuddle. I'm kinda jealous cuz Mom keeps letting all these small fosters sleep in bed with her...and I'm not allowed to! Something about me hogging the bed! As if!
There's an adoption event on Saturday...hopefully she'll find a paw'some home right away!

Maybe you need to put your foot down Murphy and tell your human if the little on gets to sleep on the bed so do you!! We would if our human let our Chihuahua sleep on the bed *Hee! Hee!*
