Mr. Darcy - running free

A beautiful boy Dane crossed the rainbow bridge today after a valiant fight against Wobblers.

Mr. Darcy was an online Dane friend, and we've been following his struggle with his disease. His mom did absolutely everything she could to try and help him. He is a very lucky doggie to have such a loving human.

Here is a cute picture of him as a pup....

and another taken recently, where he was enjoying a day out with his family.

Mr. Darcy is now in a peaceful place, a place where he can run and be free of pain. Bristol and Tyler are surely racing around with him as I type this.

RIP, Mr. Darcy.

Tribute To A Best Friend
Sunlight streams through window pane unto a spot on the floor....

then I remember, it's where you used to lie, but now you are no more.

Our feet walk down a hall of carpet, and muted echoes sound....

then I remember, It's where your paws would joyously abound.

A voice is heard along the road, and up beyond the hill,

then I remember it can't be yours....your golden voice is still.

But I'll take that vacant spot of floorand empty muted hall

and lay them with the absent voice and unused dish along the wall.

I'll wrap these treasured memorials in a blanket of my love

and keep them for my best friend until we meet above.
