Mom's got a problem...

Its called a shopping problem...

Leashes, collars...and now dis. This is the 2nd cool coat that she's bought me. Last year she bought me this one, and while it still fits in the shoulders and length, the belly strap no longer comes even close to closing.

So, she bought me this one. Its from Aah Paws. Mom saw it on Vegas, one of my doggie blogger friends who is also part of the "52 Weeks For Dogs" project, and just had to have one.

Luckily it got here just in time for the heat wave Sandy Eggo is having.

Mom tried it on me, and it fit pretty well! With the exception of the belly strap that is. Mom can get it to velcro closed, but the then there's the problem of not being able to breathe.

Mom thinks the addition of a longer velcro strap is all that is needed. Since she doesn't know how to sew...or own a sewing maching for that matter, I'm gonna be interested to see how she does this one.

Along with my cool coat, I also got a new collar!

This is the 2nd collar Mom has ordered from Trendy Hounds on Etsy, and she absolutely LOVES them! Its 1.5" which goes well with my big noggin, and its a martingale type collar. The first collar Mom ordered was a large, and it fit but only had about an inch of play in the size. I'm tellin ya, I got a big noggin! This time Mom ordered an XL and there's much more room to grow into it.

They are very high quality, super durable and washable. Good thing, cuz I like to get dirty!

While she was at it, she bought me a new stuffy. Its made out of a tough cordory type material and so far is holding up very well to my gnawing attempts to surgically remove the sqeaker!

I am obviously going to have to put more effort into this, so back to work!!
