I'm not quite sure what happened.
When Mom left for work today, this was a perfectly good, brand new, dog bed.
Sometime, during the day though, it just 'sploded.
Thank goodness neither Fergie or I was hurt!!
That shrapnel really coulda done sum damage!
I told Mom I think she should just take it back to the store.
Its obviously defective.

This was day 7 of Murphy having free reign in the house. Normally, he is confined to his x-pen, with a blanket to lie on. He was a very mouthy puppy and would chew on anything!
My boy is growing up though, and after several test weekends where he was left out for just a few hours at a time, he was given big boy priveledges last Monday.
Apparently, 7 days of free reign can make a dog crazy. :) Lucky for Murphy, I can't really be mad at him. He didn't get to the park Friday or Saturday and just had a short time to play on Sunday. I think the energy levels just got to be too much and the poor bed took the brunt of it. Thank goodness for Costco dog beds. I'd MUCH rather have him chew his $25 Costco bed than my couch!

Oh my goodness, Murphy - it was a good thing you weren't on your bed when it "sploded"!! Hee! Hee!
I guess you couldn't ever have a bed like my beanbag one, I suppose, coz if that "sploded" - there really would be a HUGE mess! (I've always been a very un-chewy puppy and hardly ever chewed anything...am just awfully lazy and chewing requires too much effort! :-)

Murphy - there was a small explosion at my house last Saturday. Only mine involved ripping inside my x-pen. Momma was not impressed to be sewing up my LL bean bed at 9 pm. There are no pictures Momma was too mad. oopsy.

If I didn't get at least 2 walks a day, I would go crazy too (and I'm just a little dog.) Murphy, plead the 5th! I'm sure no court of law would convict you once they hear the whole story!
That doggy bed is CLEARLY defective! I mean, look at your mug...does that look like a guilty pup? I THINK NOT!

That kitten looks awful suspicious to me. Are you sure that the bed didn't splode with some help from Fergie? I wouldn't trust anyone so adorable.
Saw via icerocket blog tracker where you stopped by my blog. When the page opened and I saw your beautiful pup, I almost cried. We so miss our Henley the Great Dane. He was such a part of our lives and it hurt so much to lose him that we made the decision that he was to be our last big boy. We now have two Airedales but there's not a day that goes by that we don't think of Henley and choke up with emotion. Danes are simply the best...

We had lots of those exploding beds when Natasha was younger, but we thought they got that product defect solved since it does not happen here anymore.

Your kitty is soooo precious! What kind is she? We were very sorry to see that you lost a kitty in December. It's so hard when our beloved animals leave us.
