OMD....can you believe it!?! Its been a whole year already since I came to live with Mom!! Wow. Time sure goes by fast. I have to say, its been a pretty good year. Its been a year of exploration and adventures, dat's for sure! Probably one of the most important things that I did was grow. And grow. And grow!
Mom thought it would be fun to go thru some of her favorite pictures from our first year together.
Boy...was I ever a cute lil tyke!
right from the beginning, I had super comfortable positions to sleep in.
Sophie KitTON had a LOT to teach me...but I was learning from the best!
I had my first swimmin lesson! (I think Kona pushed me!)
and I learned that I REALLY like the ocean!
I made some great doggie friends
and met some doggies who were a bit odd...
I learned to appreciate sunsets...
and ice packs (after I got tutored!!)
Even elephant topiaries are scary!
I got my first taste of raw meat...and never looked back!
what did I say about funny sleepin positions?
can we go for a walk now Mom?
I had to say goodbye to Sophie KitTON, but a few months later I said hello to my new sister, Fergie!
Its been a great year with Mom. I'm almost 15 months old and have had lots of adventures.
But, I'm still as dopey as ever...
and I still enjoy interesting sleeping positions....
Can't wait to see what the next year brings!

Looks like you had a great first year Murphy! Mom and I enjoyed all of your pictures. :)
BARK! You did a LOT in your first year. Mommy and daddy were just learning me still. BARK! Sasha the Princess
Aww Murphy! Great recap of your first year! You DO have some funny sleeping positions! Too cute!
I love that picture of you getting pushed in the pool! Perfect timing!
That looks like the most wonderfulest year ever and you should be excited because they only keep getting better!
Wags and Woofs,
Mack and Mia
I really like those beach photos!
Good Lord! I cannot tell you how much we miss having a big slobbery Dane. We so love the two Airedales that are our babies now, but it never ceases to amaze us at how everything they do (licks, kisses, barks vs BOOFS!) reminds us of the loss of our beloved Henley, the Great Dane. I love the pics you post and am adding you to my Google Reader.
Happy gotcha day Murphy! You are adorable!
Kisses,
Emma Rose

Murphy I see nothin' wrong with your sleeping positions, they seem perfectly normal to me.

Murphy, you're so lucky to have a mom to take you so many places and teach so so many things (how's that swimming going?) He's to another year of fun sleeping positions!

Murphy, I am so glad to have found your blog! I found out about you through another blog but I cannot remember which blogger recommended you! Ooops!
I love Harlequin Great Danes so much that I will approach anyone who has one at that end of their leash b/c I HAVE TO meet them! It's rare to see a Great Dane everyday so I'm happy I can stop over here when I need a dose of one of the best dog breeds ever!
I am now a new follower! Please come by to visit us sometime!
OH - this is just the most wonderful post!! LOVE LOVE LOVE all the pictures! You've had a great start, Murphy, and I'm sure it's only going to get better! I love that you lead a really full life doing lots of different things! (And those sleeping positions - hee! hee! I used to do those too when I was younger, although not so much now...maybe us doggies get less flexible as we get older!)
Looking forward to another year of Murphy-ness!
Slobbers,
Honey the Great Dane
ps. sorry for not visiting for ages - but am enjoying catching up now!
