Last day of the dog show, and thankfully the rain stayed away til we were done.
The course was not too bad. A little cramped again, but after yesterday I was used to it.
Mom screwed up again and cost us 1st place, but even with her big 10 point mistake
I still got another 2nd place finish and my final qualifying leg!
I am now MurphyDog...CGC, RN. Gonna hafta get new business cards made!
Very first station...I was suppose to do a "Front, finish left" and keep moving (no sit after the finish)...but Mom didn't realize that so she asked me to sit.
boy was I pooped. So tired that I fell asleep sitting up! Thank goodness for headrests!

OOOH MURPHY!!! What a wonderful achievement!!!! Congratulations!! I am so proud of you - not only for getting the titles but more for showing that Danes can do Rally-O too! I thought you were wonderful - we loved you video - not least because it's nice to see another doggie behaving like me in the ring - ha! ha! Coz you know, we always see these collies and stuff all hyper & focused and I just get a total inferiority complex - but now I feel so much better after watching your video coz you're just like me! I also do that sort of chilled out, ambly walk and take time to look around, maybe sniff a few things - Hsin-Yi was laughing at those times when your human turned and you were just standing there looking blankly into space like "Wha-a-?" - that is just like me - ha! ha! And I take really long to sit as well. Now I can see that it's just a giant doggie thing. You're much better at doing DOWN though than me - I take AGES to go down! :-)
Anyway, congrats again - your human must be so proud!
Oh - and we also wanted to say that we so agreed with your comment about people giving up too quickly with new pets - we hate how people are just into "instant gratification" now - don't they realise that anything worth having takes hard work & time?

Murphy how cool are you! Having letters after you name :) You and your human deserve it though. We really enjoyed watching the video - its always nice to see a breed other than a collie doing well :)
We tried to do something like that once, except Laura got so scared of the scary teacher lady that she never went back with us - maybe we'll have to talk her into going to a differnt club :p
