Sheepdogs & snuggles

Mom went to the "Scottish Highland Games" with some friends today. As they were waiting at the local high school for the shuttle...this strangest of strange doggies walked by. Look at da poor sunburn on dat thing! His Mom obviously doesn't know to put suncreen on him like mine does!

Mom went on her own...without me, cuz she said there were "no dogs allowed". But den she comes home with her flashy box full of photos like these. If that's not a doggie...I don't know what is!

Apparently, only border collies from the planet agility were allowed. Sumthin about them bein excellent 'sheep herdin' doggies.

sheesh....I could TOTALLY do this.

although those sheep ARE kinda scary lookin.

They should consider themselves lucky that I wasn't able to make it though...I woulda done a lot more than put those sheepies in a pen!

While Mom was watchin the sheepdog trials, a pretty hawk was gettin herded in the air by a lil mockingbird.

I really dont understand humans sometimes though. There were gals and guys playin silly games.

When Mom got home, she gave me some extra special time with the new kitTON. Poor lil thang, she still doesn't have a name...so I had'ta cuddle with her a lil so she wouldn't feel bad.

she sure is sweet!! I really really like her and think she's gonna fit in pretty well around here.

Even Fergie is slowly startin to come around!
