just ask Mom if you don't believe me
its been pretty much non-stop like this since Marvin came to the house.
I think its safe to say Marvin's a cool dude. Boy does he get in trouble though. I've been keepin track. Here's just a few of the things he does that are naughty.
- get on the couch
- get on the couch by walking on the coffee table
- climb on the back of the couch
- get on the bed
- get on the dresser after getting on the bed
- eat Sophie KitTONs food, which is on the dresser so us dogs won't eat it (even I know that one!)
- pretend the water bowl is a pond and splash around in it with his front paws, forcing Mom to mop the kitchen which we all know she doesn't like to do!
- harass Sophie KitTON and make her upset (doesn't he know that's MY job?)
He's one naughty dog. He makes me look like an angel.
Overall, he's really a nice boy though, and even though Mom would like to keep him, it doesn't sound like he's stayin. Sumthin about me not bein mature enough for a brudder.
Especially for a smaller than me brudder who has no idea he is smaller than me.
I think she's worried Im gonna squish him with my large self. I don't know what makes her think that...maybe cuz every time I lie on him he squeaks like my stuffies? He keeps cumin back for more though, so what am I suppose to do?
And to tell you the truth...if you take a look at the evidence presented, most of it shows a certain fluffy dog squishing me! not the other way around!

We know exactly what you mean! Bitey face during every waking moment! The Duchess gets upset with me because I usually bite Mr. Higgins too hard and he yelps. But when I walk away, he runs across the room and jumps on me! But Higgins is growing and one day will be my size or bigger. It looks like Marvin is full grown? I sure hope you can work things out. It looks like you are having such a good time.

Marvin looks like a very friendly dude, although he might become too rough sometimes. It seems he is so happy to have a playmate that he just can't stop messing around with you.
Looks like the little guy is having a ball...

Bitey face is what our 2 dogs do all the time also. Our Odda (Bernese Mt Dog) and Hooch (Jack Russell Terrier) keep at it until one yelps, and now that the Berner has really grown bigger, it ends up to be Hooch that yelps - even tho he still is the alpha male dog. We LOVE bitey-face too! It's probably our favorite game. Most likely Lilly got that scrape on her ear from an innocent game of bitey-face!
Careful about squeaking your new stuffy toy too much!! We're still laughing about that one!
Marvin has one big set of choppers for such a small guy. He is as naughty as my little brother Ambrose. We should get them together!

Aw, Murphy - those are great pictures of you guys playing! Gosh, Marvin does sound like he keeps your humans on their toes, though! 2 dogs is a lot of work - especially when they are still young and need individual training and walking time, otherwise they can bond more with each other than with the humans and also quickly learn some naughty habits together...so I'm glad your humans are thinking things through carefully! People are always telling my human to get another dog but she knows she can't commit the time to do it properly and she'd rather have quality than quantity. People just think about how sweet it is when they play together but life isn't just made up of those moments! :-) Double the fun can also mean double the trouble! :-)
