Marvin had an excellent center of gravity...
That's the scientific conclusion I've come to as to why the lil guy was always able to pin me.
Mom explained to me that I'll get a brudder or a sisder one day (other than my Sophie KitTON sisder, that is). Right now, I just need to grow up a bit. She wants to be able to focus all of her attention on ME (which, really, should it be any other way??). That means I gets ALL of the treats, ALL of the toys, and ALL of the luvins. Not such a bad deal, don'cha think?
Not only that, but Mom thinks I need mores obedience class. For some reason when she calls me at the park or the beach, she thinks I need to run over to her as fast as possible. Wussup with dat? So, for now I will work on my heeling, and my recalls, and my sits & down stays.
Eventually, Mom wants me to get my CGC (Canine Good Citizen),
and after that she might even have me compete in obedience, rally or a combination of the two. She thinks in another year or so I'll maybe be more mature and then she can start lookin for another doggie to join our family.
For now, Marvin went back to the foster Mom's and that very same weekend she got an email saying he'd found a new fur-ever family. A super nice young couple about an hour from Sandy Eggo came to see him at the adoption fair he was at, and fell in love. Two Woofs for Marvin! I just know he's gonna have a grrrreat life!

Hi Murphy,
There's a lot to be said for getting all the treats and all the love. I have to share everything with two brothers. Sometimes that's ok and sometimes it stinks!
Kisses,
Emma Rose
wow, looking forward to hear more now that there's more legs around!
ps. love the way u say sandy eggo. ha!
Don't worry Murphy, you'll get a brudder or sister someday. Momma won't let me have one until I'm older and have more manners. Plus, Momma would need a bigger car too.

I think that you are a very thoughtful dog owner. Many people just take in new dogs without thinking carefully about dogs they already have and the future of the both dogs. I don't think I have given you any helpful advice, but Hsin-Yi certainly did. Good luck on your training for Canine Good Citizen!! That is one of the things I want to achieve with Cinnamon! (Am I too ambitious?)
Too bad about Marvin, but it worked out that he found his forever home so quickly after! Soon you'll be mature enough for a sibling!
Well I am sorry that Marvin isn't living with you any more Murphy but it sounds like he is in a great home. You will get a brother when the time is right. Enjoy your training. It will be so fun.
Your friend,
Niamh
