A little while ago, Mom was contacted by Sun Chlorrela and asked to try out a product they had called REJUV-A-WAFERS.
Mom is always interested in anything that might improve my health, my joints, and my overall immune system, so she said "sure!" and a few days later a box of wafers appeared at our doorstop. That postal service is like magic!! BOL!
According to their website, Chlorrela is a strain of green algae that grows in fresh water. It's considered a Superfood and is suppose to have all kinds of powers to detoxify your body. I had no idea I was even toxified!!
REJUV-A-WAFERS combines Chlorrela with Sun Eleuthero, which helps reduce stress and support your body's ability to fight off the effects of modern living.
Mom thought since we had a sweet foster dog, Cady, staying with us for a while...she could try them out on both her & me! Unfortunately, we both had different ideas.
You see...I don't eat anything that's green. Unless its grass, I do like to eat grass...even though Mom yells at me cuz she says it makes me pukey. Whatever.
And these little wafers were definitely green. Mom said they kind of smelled like algae...or seaweed. Not bad or anything, but I am so picky when it comes to what I put in my mouth (I won't even eat blueberries!), so there was no way I was eating this green wafer thing.
BTW...Cady wouldn't either. Mom tried probably half a dozen times to get us to eat one little wafer, but no way no how. I rolled it around in my mouth a little...got it nice and slobbery...and then plunk, on the floor it went.
So, here's our overall review:
Taste - not so good. Or at least not meaty, juicy, livery or peanut buttery. Those are my favorites and if it tasted like one of those things I'd probably give it a try.
and, because neither me or Cady would actually eat it, Mom couldn't give them to us to even see if there would be any benefit to skin, coat, eyes, etc.
Mom wishes she could give you some more information on actually using the product, but since neither me or Cady would cooperate that's about all she can share. Sorry, Sun Chlorella!
