Health & Welfare

Mom takes her furkid's health very seriously. We get fed (what she feels) is the best diet, and we always have our regular checkups with our favorite Betterinarian.

Mom has been taking her animals to Dr. Ungar at Kensington Veterinary Hospital since 1995. She loves Dr. Ungar for a few simple reasons:
  1. Dr. Ungar practices Holistic & Homeopathic medicine as well as traditional Western medicine.
  2. Dr. Ungar respects Mom's knowledge of veterinary medicine and always listens to the information Mom has found through her research and...
  3. Dr. Ungar shares many of the same beliefs as Mom about vaccinations (although Mom is still tryin to convince her about feeding a Raw diet!)
On the occassion that Dr. Ungar hasn't been able to help, Mom uses the consultation services of Dr. Charles Loops. He helped quite a bit when each of Mom's first Great Danes (Bristol & Tyler) got bone cancer. He again treated my fursister, Sophie KitTON, when she was diagnosed with Lymphoma.
